Ru Paul’s Drag Race is the ultimate celebration of drag culture and fierce competition.

The reality competition showcases the best of the best and has featured some unforgettable wild moments, catfights, and of course iconic performances.

One of the hardest parts of watching the show is the eliminations. There can only be one winner, and the latest queen told by Ru Paul to “Sashay Away” opened up about her devastating elimination.

Loosey LaDuca was a contestant on Season 15 of the show and fell into the bottom two for a second time, but this time was unable to lip-sync herself to safety and was sent home.

She has since described the judges’ decision as devastating and genuinely felt that she had been robbed of her spot in the final. She cried from the moment her name was called to the point where she entered the Werk Room.

“I never second-guessed anything, and I believe – and people can call me delusional – that I earned a spot in the finale.” - Loosey LaDuca.

She goes on to explain her reasoning, feeling that her strong performances leading up to the elimination should have been considered and should have been enough to push her through to the final. She had won 2 Maxi Challenges and 3 Mini Challenges and lost the lip-sync battle to Luxx Noir London who had previously won just 2 Maxi Challenges.

Despite not being on the best of terms after Luxx’s comments describing Loosey’s drag style as “generic,” Loosey has tried to be the bigger person, asking fans not to direct any hate towards Luxx or other contestants in the final.

She has also spoken out against the narrative the show is trying to portray. She took to Twitter to say that she was, “Truly sick and tired of this narrative they’re building that I was so serious and competitive that I didn’t have fun.” and ended her Tweet with, “truly had a blast. But I guess showing us getting along isn’t good tv.”

Despite her journey on the show coming to a negative and disappointing end, she has kept her head held high in true Queen style and when asked about her Drag Race Legacy, Loosey hopes that viewers will remember how powerful it is to show emotion, and not to be afraid of being emotionally vulnerable. Loosey will continue to work in construction along with being a drag performer.
