Russell and Kimora's beef

According to Kimora Lee Simmons, she and her ex-husband started dating when she was 17 years old and he was already 35, which certainly sounds a bit problematic. The two got married in 1998 and divorced eight years later, with Kimora taking their daughters and a lot of money after the divorce was finalized.

However, it looks like Russell Simmons is still upset about it all these years later.

Kimora's harassment claims

Recently, Kimora posted a message on her Instagram, revealing that her ex-husband is harassing her over the money she got from their divorce statement and is even threatening their children's lives.

Shortly after that, Russell's daughter Aoki released a WhatsApp conversation with her father, revealing that he has also been bullying her and accusing her mother of stealing his money. In the messages, Russell also says that he is actually broke.

Aoki's testimony

According to the leaked private messages, Russell had been lashing out at Aoki for quite some time. He yelled at the girl so much that she had panic attacks, and in addition to that, Russell ruined his relationship with his daughter over a legal dispute with Kimora that Aoki had no idea about.

Just a decade ago, Russell boasted a fortune of more than $300 million, but in 2023, the highest estimate of his net worth is only $10 million. This still may be a huge exaggeration according to Aoki's messages, as Simmons himself states that he is literally broke and has no money to pay for anything.
