All Sheridanverse shows known so far.

We are still waiting to see the final episodes of Yellowstone's Season 5, which will wrap up the narrative of the Dutton family. The conclusion of the WGA strike means that work on the final script is likely in progress, but a schedule for resuming filming won't be determined until the negotiations between SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP are finalized.

That doesn't even take into account potential complications stemming from the dispute involving Kevin Costner.

Fortunately, the show has evolved beyond a standalone tale about the current generation of Duttons. Sheridan has expanded it into a sweeping multi-generational saga detailing how the Duttons' ancestors established what would become the Yellowstone Ranch. However, with the numerous Sheridanverse series, it's easy to get lost, so we've decided to compile a comprehensive list of all the Yellowstone spin-offs.

1883 (2021–2022)

The franchise's first spin-off, 1883, stars Tim McGraw, Sam Elliott, Isabel May, and Faith Hill. It's a gritty narrative, filled with the harshness and danger of the lawless Old West, recounting the trials and tribulations of James Dutton and his family as they journey by wagon train from Tennessee to Texas and then from Oregon to Montana.

1923 (2023 – present)

The subsequent spin-off, 1923, as the title implies, is also a prequel. The plot centers on James' older brother, Jacob Dutton (portrayed by Harrison Ford), who, alongside his wife Cara (played by Helen Mirren), raises James' children on their family ranch. The events unfold during the Prohibition era and the onset of the Great Depression, which hit Montana several years before the Wall Street Crash of 1929.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023)

Lawmen revolves around Bass Reeves (David Oyelowo), one of the first black deputy U.S. Marshals, who apprehended a vast number of outlaws throughout his career, without suffering any harm. The series is technically a spin-off, sharing the same universe and occurring concurrently with 1883, but it doesn't have a direct link to the Yellowstone saga.

6666 (TBD)

Not much is known about the upcoming spin-off, but as the title suggests, the storyline will center around the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, which was featured in Yellowstone's seasons 4 and 5.

1944 (TBD)

No details are available about this series, apart from the fact that it will serve as a sequel to 1923 and, based on the title, will likely focus on Montana during WWII.

Matthew McConaughey Spin-off

Finally, following Yellowstone, Sheridan will turn his attention to a spin-off starring Matthew McConaughey, but there is currently no information about the timeline or characters.
