Is Teresa Giudice Leaving RHONJ After Season 13 Amid Melissa & Joe Feud?
It appears that the Real Housewives veteran is done with constant confrontations in front of the cameras.
Bravo's iconic, extravagant reality show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, wrapped up its 13th season just a few days ago with the release of the third instalment of its reunion special. And, of course, what would RHONJ be without another scandal that turned into a full-blown feud?
We're talking about the mutual hatred between Teresa Giudice, her brother Joe, and his wife and fellow cast member Melissa Gorga. It seems that the Gorgas have driven Tre, who once promised to stay on the show until the very end, so far up the wall that she is now on the verge of leaving the project for good. But is it going to happen?
The exact cause of the conflict remains a mystery. Rumour has it that Melissa cheated on Joe. Although both denied it, it seems to have caused Teresa to turn her back on her sister-in-law. In addition, several sources reported that Tre and Joe had been fighting over the idea of a pizza chain that Teresa and Luis completely changed the concept for without informing Joe.
The feud continued when, in August 2022, Teresa and Luis didn't invite Joe and Melissa to their wedding, which broke Joe's heart. But the drama didn't stop there, and it only heated up during the reunion.
First, Luis allegedly hired famous private investigator Bo Dietl to dig up dirt on Melissa and Joe, although he later said that he deliberately started the rumour to put a lid on it. Melissa and Joe accused Tre's daughter Gia of insulting Melissa. The girl had to come on the show to reveal all she did was tell Joe he 'could do better.'
The confrontation between Teresa and Joe resulted in the former snapping: after being devastated by her brother's words, she ran backstage. When she returned to the stage, she said that he had broken her heart, while Joe suggested that they forget about each other.
While Teresa's intentions to leave the show remain unknown for now, it's pretty hard to imagine how she, Melissa, and Joe will coexist in season 14. Considering how done she is with those two, it could prove an insurmountable challenge for her.
