Ross and Roberts worked together on the set of AHS: 1984, and since that season turned out to be a blast, everyone was sure that things went pretty smooth between all the actors during the filming. However, in one of her recent Instagram Lives, Ross revealed that Roberts actually said some transphobic things to her during the filming process.

Ross revealed that during one of their arguments, the director of the episode said, "Ladies, that's enough, let's get back to work," to which Roberts replied, "Don't you mean lady?"

Fans have been quick to argue that Roberts has never been a particularly popular actress, with her only notable roles coming thanks to her collaborations with Ryan Murphy, so the general public has never been interested in her behind-the-scenes persona. However, now that she is starring in a season with Kim herself, the amount of attention she is getting is unprecedented, which may explain why Ross decided to reveal her side of the story now.
