We're still eagerly awaiting the fourth season of The Boys.

But hey, fans of the anti-superhero show, did you know that the actor who played your favorite (or hated) superhero also starred in the iconic series about Ancient Greece?

We don't know exactly when season 4 will be released. However, Eric Kripke, the showrunner and writer, posted a photo of the script on his personal Twitter account on August 22, 2022, hinting that the plot itself is ready. But from the looks of it, filming hasn't even started yet. So we can assume that the approximate release window will be the end of 2023.

But don't be sad, dear fans, let's take a look back at the career of the certain actor we love!

Even If Fantastic Beasts' Series is Dead, We Know How It Would've Ended Already

Xena: Warrior Princess is a true cult classic in the world of TV shows that many of us grew up watching. The fantasy show, starring the legendary Lucy Lawless, as well as the original Hercules series, left a tremendous legacy.

One of the most popular TV series of the 90s was certainly the starting point of the careers of many actors. After all, Lucy Lawless and Kevin Sorbo became famous thanks to it.

But surprisingly, Xena was once helped by Homelander himself! Well, not him, of course, but the actor who played him, Anthony Starr.

In 1995, he played the supporting role of Mesas in an episode Hooves and Harlots in season 1. But a year later, in season 2, Starr landed (or rather "homelanded"?) a more prominent role. This time, he played the role of slinger David in the episode The Giant Killer, based on the biblical story of David and Goliath. Not surprising, considering Starr is from New Zealand, where the show was filmed and made the country popular.

In addition to Anthony Starr, a large number of popular actors were involved in Xena. For example, the charismatic Bruce Campbell, known for his role as Ash in the Evil Dead franchise, made a cameo appearance. This is not surprising since one of the executive producers of Xena is Sam Raimi, the creator of the horror series.

The series also featured Tony Todd (Star Trek, Candyman, and the upcoming Spider-Man 2 game), Gina Torres (Firefly, Suits), and many other famous or aspiring actors.
