Hogwarts Legacy packs 46 trophies and 45 achievements, and unlocking them will test every trick in your spellbook—from crafting and questing to brutal battles. Ready to 100% the wizarding world?

If you are the kind of player who hears the word 'platinum' and immediately starts reorganizing your life, Hogwarts Legacy has a lot for you to chew on. It is a big, busy checklist with a few funny curveballs, some real grind, and yes, multiple house-specific runs. Here is the full, clean breakdown so you can plan the playthroughs instead of panic-Googling at 2 a.m.

What you are actually chasing

There are 46 trophies on PlayStation (that includes the platinum) and 45 achievements on other platforms. You will need to do pretty much everything the game offers: classes, main quests, side quests, broom races, combat arenas, Merlin Trials, Demiguise statues, cairn dungeons, breeding and growing, brewing, Ancient Magic, and a whole lot of collecting. Some of these take time and repetition. A few are quirky in a good way: tipping cows with Flipendo, sneaking 50 enemies with Petrificus Totalus, and climbing to the Headmaster’s upper study are on the menu.

House-specific heads-up: there are four trophies tied to reaching the Map Chamber as each house. That means you will at least replay up to that point four times (or commit to multiple characters). It is not hard, but it is a commitment.

One more timely note: if you still do not own the game, it is currently free on the Epic Games Store. You can claim it until 18:00 UTC on December 18, 2025. If you are planning a 100% run, free is a nice price.

  • "Raising Expectations": Hit a 100-hit combo.
  • "A Forte for Achievements": Reach Level 40.

Couple of clarifiers because the in-game wording can be fuzzy: the Ancient Magic and Mandrake trophies want variety, not volume, so make sure you are tagging different enemy types. And if you are gunning for 100% quickly, knock out the house-specific Map Chamber trophies early in short runs, then commit to a main save for the big grinds like Trials, statues, arenas, and collections.

Good luck out there. May your broom races be clean, your Demiguise hunts be merciful, and your cow-tipping be purely for science.
