Here's How Good of a Kisser Johnny Depp Actually Is, According to Marion Cotillard
Love him or hate him, but even at 59 years old, Johnny Depp is still one of the biggest Hollywood heartthrobs.
Perhaps the A-lister is not an exemplary husband, but he is nevertheless a charming man who has lots of admirers, many of whom dream about him romantically.
And certainly, it's very exciting for the fans to learn that Depp is also a great kisser, according to at least one of the actresses who had a chance to check out his skills.
Marion Cotillard, who was Johnny Depp's co-star in Public Enemies, spoke about her experience of working with the actor in an interview to the Irish Examiner. The actress described him as gallant and dignified, and she felt grateful to Depp for giving her immense support on the set.
'I was very nervous but he was very protective of me,' Cotillard said. 'And if you really want to know, he is a very, very good kisser,' she added.
Because Public Enemies was Cotillard's first movie after La Vie en Rose, released two years earlier, she must have felt pretty stressed to return to the movie set, and it was really kind of Johnny to try to make his co-star feel comfortable and protected.
The actor's remarkable smooching skills weren't the only thing that impressed her, as the French actress had more nice things to say about Depp:
'When I say he's a simple person, it doesn't mean like he's… it means he's really easy to talk with. He's the same person with everybody, which is an amazing quality when you have a special life like the life that he has. He's a real gentleman,' Cotillard revealed in another interview.
By the way, Keira Knightley also admitted she liked the kiss she shared with Depp during the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean:
'It was good. Really good,' the actress said. However, Johnny Depp himself later confessed that kissing Keira felt 'unbelievably awkward' for him…
Which makes you wonder, what did he think of the kiss with Marion Cotillard?
