Here's Another Proof Matt Damon & Ben Affleck Friendship is the Best Thing That Happened to Hollywood
Hollywood's biggest bromance just keeps getting better with each passing year.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are not only accomplished actors and screenwriters, they are also great friends.
Their friendship, which began back when they were teenagers, has developed into a great creative partnership, as the two actors have not only co-starred in films, such as Dogma and The Last Duel, but also co-written the Oscar-winning screenplay for Good Will Hunting.
Despite their immense success, the two stars never stopped goofing around with each other, often sharing anecdotes about their past misadventures in various interviews. And it looks like the story Ben Affleck and Matt Damon recently shared with IMDb during their promotional interview for their new movie Air might be the best one fans have ever heard.
'We both wanted to get the Jeep Grand Cherokee Sport — it was like the really dope new truck at the time,' Affleck said. 'We both wanted to get a hunter green one, so we flipped a coin and the loser got a black one and the winner got a green one,' Damon added.
In the end, Damon won the coin flip and bought himself a new and shiny green Jeep, which Affleck still envies to this day. While the story itself is a bit silly, it perfectly explains how close Damon and Affleck really are.
Fans are really glad that the stars decided to share this 90s story after all this time, saying that it was both funny and insightful.
Some fans are already jokingly suggesting that Affleck adapt the story into a movie and cast Damon in the lead role. Jokes and giggles aside, people are really hoping to see a movie based on Affleck and Damon's friendship and are willing to wait a few decades to see all of the famous anecdotes about the pair on the big screen.
Affleck and Damon's latest collaboration, Air, is in theaters now!
