The popular British show is set to return this year.

The story of a young English vet's life in the 1930s took the world by storm when it was released in the UK and then acquired by PBC for the US release. On both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, viewers simply fell in love with the show's characters and cozy atmosphere.

All Creatures Great and Small boasts a perfect three-season run, but fans clearly want more, and Channel 5 has already responded to their pleas by renewing the series for the upcoming Season 4. But when will it arrive?

All three previous seasons premiered in England in September, which certainly indicates that Channel 5 has a special plan on how to release its biggest show's new season rather soon.

Perhaps it is safe to bet that the upcoming Season 4 will also be released in September this year, at least in England. The premiere in the US is a much trickier question, as it may even be delayed until 2024.

However, the producers over in England are definitely noticing how popular the show has become in the States and will probably do everything in their power to make it available to US viewers as soon as possible.

'It is clear that our viewers adore James Herriot's adventures in Darrowby and so do we at Channel 5. I am looking forward to us all being reunited with the Skeldale House family,' said Cardwell, Deputy Director of Programmes at ViacomCBS Networks UK.

It looks like fans of All Creatures Great and Small will be able to follow the life of the lovable veterinarian for quite some time in the future, as Channel 5 will certainly not end its popular series after the upcoming fourth season.

Perhaps the show will prove to be so popular that some of the American networks will acquire the rights for a possible remake. However, the fans are really against it, arguing that the classic English humor and the lush countryside is what makes the series really special — and a remake is likely to ruin that unique atmosphere.
