Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are well known in Hollywood, and Gosling's latest role in the Barbie movie has caused quite a stir as fans eagerly await its release with the Ken actor in the spotlight. However, he did not let his moment of fame overshadow his love for long-time partner Eva Mendes.
The pair are notoriously private, keeping the intimate parts of their relationship out of the public eye, and rarely appear on the red carpet or at other events together, and Barbie was no exception.
Mendes did not attend the recent Barbie 'pink' carpet, but Gosling found a subtle and sentimental way to include her in the moment.
True to Barbie style, Gosling attended the event in a full pink suit and posed with his on-screen love, Margot Robbie, who played Barbie. Gosling, who played the lead, Ken, gave thought to every detail in his outfit, including the pink initial necklace he wore.
On closer inspection, the letter 'E' in the signature pink Barbie font could be seen dangling on his chest. 'E' for Eva.

After 12 years together, Gosling and Mendes still seem to have the sweetest relationship.
His tribute to her was thoughtful and touching, a small detail with so much meaning behind it that had everyone going crazy for the couple.
Mendes has been non-stop supporting Gosling during the Barbie movie, cheering him on from the sidelines, sharing pictures of him to her Instagram praising the film, along using the hashtag #ThatsmyKen. She has even posted herself in a Ken T-Shirt.
For Gosling, her support is important to him, he told a reporter at the pink carpet event that 'It means everything. It means everything'.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes met in 2011 on set for the film 'The Place Beyond the Pines' and hit it off. The pair were spotted on a few dates, but kept things very private, and welcomed this first daughter in 2014 and second in 2016. In 2022, we found out that they are married, but nobody knows since when.
Whilst their relationship and private life are kept very secret, their love for one another is undeniable, and Gosling reminded us of this with his loving tribute on the Barbie pink carpet.
Barbie is set for release in cinemas on 21 July 2023.
