We mean that literally — he looks nothing like Jasper now.

Ten years after the last film of the franchise was released, Jackson Rathbone is still best known for his role as Jasper Hale in the Twilight movies.

And if you're one of those people who only remember him from the vampire saga, you probably wouldn't recognize the actor nowadays!

Jackson's photo showcasing his nice ripped physique scored 80 thousand likes, and some of the popular comments were 'Okay, Jasper' and 'Alice liked this,' accompanied by fire emojis. And that's true — his character's wife Alice Cullen would surely appreciate the amazing physical transformation, which saw Jasper turn into a real stud over the years.

Besides, you may even argue that this is what the character should have looked like in the movies since Jasper was a war-hardened Confederate Army major. However, we can't say for sure if his vegetarian diet would allow him to bulk up so much!

After The Twilight Saga, Jackson Rathbone played in a large number of shows and movies. One of his notable leading roles was in the web series Aim High, where he portrayed a high school student living a double life as a spy. The show ran from 2011 to 2013, and of course, Jackson still looked like a teenager at the time.

The actor says he has been very selective with his acting jobs, agreeing to star only in the projects he found interesting. 'I get to be selective now because I have a fairly good career after Twilight,' Rathbone explained to Newsweek.

Of course, with a networth of $7 million, the Twilight star can enjoy this kind of creative freedom. In addition to acting, Rathbone has a small production company and a record company of his own. He is also a vocalist and musician and played in the funk band 100 Monkeys from 2008 to 2012.

Jackson Rathbone's more recent movies include Until We Meet Again (2021), WarHunt (2022), and Condor's Nest (2023) — of all which, sadly, did not do particularly well with the audience, scoring between 4 and 4.4/10 on IMDb. Many more of his projects are in the works now, so we can hope the actor will surprise us with his amazing performance once again, perhaps even surpassing his cult Twilight role.
