Harry & Rylee's Dance on DWTS Made History for All the Wrong Reasons
Justice has finally been served, albeit in a small way.
Summary
- Fans have hated Harry since day one, and his lack of improvement in his skills only fuels their dislike for him.
- In the most recent episode, Rylee and Harry made history by getting the lowest score for a contemporary dance, a first in the show's history, and fans are celebrating.
Ever since the Season 32 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, fans have been counting down the days until Too Hot To Handle's Harry Jowsey is eliminated. The pairing of the muscular jock and up-and-coming professional dancer Rylee Arnold seemed perfect on paper, but the duo proved to be a total disappointment, with Rylee bearing the brunt of the workload.
Given Harry's impressive physique, fans expected him to improve his dancing skills each week. However, the reality star appears to be resistant to training: every time he hits the dance floor, he just stands there, occasionally lifting Rylee, who dances around him the rest of the time. Despite this, the couple continued to receive high scores from the judges, leading fans to accuse them of bias as Harry's performances were clearly inferior to some of the celebs who had already been eliminated.
Justice Served
In the season's fifth episode, fans were once again expecting Harry and Rylee to put in a lousy performance and get a decent score. However, the judges surprised everyone when they gave them 18 points for their contemporary dance to Andy Grammer's Keep Your Head Up, as even this moderately acceptable score landed them in the DWTS Hall of Shame.
Harry and Rylee made history by receiving the lowest score for a contemporary dance in the show's history. This was particularly fitting given that Harry's only contribution to the dance was once again to occasionally lift Rylee in the air.
Bright Future
Despite this shameful performance, it looks like Harry and Rylee won't be leaving the show anytime soon, as the judges continue to push them towards the finale. There is a reason why the DWTS producers want to keep them on the show for as long as possible.
The pair have been saturating TikTok with their behind-the-scenes videos, leading fans to speculate that they are secretly dating. With thousands of viewers intrigued by their rumored romance, the producers are banking on higher ratings for the show, which means they have every incentive to keep them in the competition for the foreseeable future.
