Arthouse sci-fi about the future of humanity, a dynamic action film, and a surreal horror masterpiece.

Once the object of ridicule for his role in a teenage vampire melodrama, and now one of Hollywood's most promising actors, Robert Pattinson continues to amaze viewers with unique screen images.

In honor of the release of Mickey 17, in which Pattinson stars, we decided to recall his most important works.

1. Good Time, 2017

One of Pattinson's leading roles, after which everyone finally started talking about a kind of renaissance of the actor and that he can play anything.

Good Time, a dynamic thriller by the Safdie brothers tells about a man who has to figure out how to get his brother out of prison in a very limited amount of time.

This is a movie with a frenetic dynamic, which is also provided by Pattinson's performance – life, drive and incredible energy flow from him onto the screen.

2. The Lighthouse, 2019

The actor approached the filming of The Lighthouse as a recognized and respected dramatic actor.

Robert Eggers' film, a surreal and comical horror about two lighthouse keepers who slowly go mad far away from civilization, shows a very wide range of Robert's acting skills – he can be funny and scary at the same time.

The Lighthouse is a movie that will definitely gain cult status and will not be lost in time, especially thanks to the strong acting duo that leads this whole chaotic, crazy story.

3. High Life, 2018

Claire Denis' melancholic sci-fi tells the story of the members of a long space expedition who, when confronted with the unknown, quickly lose both hope and the last vestiges of reason.

Robert Pattinson acts as a mediator for the director's thoughts – he is extremely convincing in the role of a silent, withdrawn astronaut whose psyche, it seems, we will never be able to fully look into.

This is definitely one of the actor's most extraordinary roles – as is the movie itself. High Life vividly demonstrated the path Pattinson has chosen for himself – the path of conceptual art-house and psychologically complex performances.

4. Tenet, 2020

Throughout the film, Pattinson's character is a man of mystery, with no past or future, who bursts into the narrative to help John Washington's character and then just as quickly leaves it.

But his character, full of omissions and secrets, is not a script error, but Nolan's conscious decision to construct an unpredictable labyrinth out of one man's biography.

As a result, Pattinson's Neil emerges as a character less dramatic than schematic – part of a mechanism capable of taking the viewer out of the comfort zone in the finale.
