Daft Punk is finally stepping into Fortnite. Yes, the helmeted French duo that basically rewired pop and electronic music is getting a full-on in-game celebration, with skins, music, and a weird mix of rhythm toys and robot-laser chaos. Here is everything you need to know, without the fluff.
- When it starts
The Fortnite Daft Punk Experience goes live on 27 September 2025 at 5pm BST. You can hop into the lobby and queue up to 30 minutes early.
Time zones, because of course:
- US West Coast: 9am PDT
- US Central: 11am CDT
- US East Coast: 12pm EDT
- Central Europe: 6pm CEST
- Singapore: 12am SGT (28 September)
- Japan: 1am JST (28 September)
- Australia East Coast: 2am AEST (28 September)
- New Zealand: 4am NZST (28 September) - What you can actually do in the event
Epic says players will have access to three areas... but then lists four. Classic pre-event copy gremlin. Expect this lineup:
- Dream Chamber Studios: remix older Daft Punk tracks and mash them together inside Fortnite
- Robot Rock Arena: blast waves of robots with a soundwave laser
- Around the World: build a LEGO music video
- Daft Club: dance 'til dawn - Skins and cosmetics: when and what
The Daft Punk skins hit the Item Shop on 25/26 September, depending on where you live. In the UK, the bundle lands at 1am on 26 September. In the US, that is 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT on 25 September.
The Daft Punk Bundle includes two full looks: the GM08 helmet with outfit and accessories, and the TB3 helmet with outfit and accessories. Both are available in standard Fortnite and LEGO styles. You also get extra cosmetics in the bundle, including instruments, emotes, back blings, and weapon wraps. - Music coming in as Jam Tracks
A handful of Daft Punk-connected songs are being added as Jam Tracks for the event, and they will also be available via the Item Shop. The lineup: 'Get Lucky' (Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers), 'Instant Crush' (Daft Punk feat. Julian Casablancas), 'Starboy' (The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk), and 'I Feel It Coming' (The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk).
First time the robots have been in Fortnite, and Epic is clearly treating it like a mini-festival. Remix station, robot shooting gallery, LEGO music video maker, and a dance floor? That is a very Daft Punk spread. See you in the queue.
