Fire Force sparks its endgame as Season 3 Cour 2 ignites on January 10, 2026 at 1:53 AM JST, hitting Crunchyroll at 2:30 AM JST. Years in the making, this final blaze thrusts Shinra into a decisive clash with the Evangelist that could remake their world.

After years of waiting, Fire Force is finally lighting the fuse on its endgame. Season 3 Cour 2 kicks off in Japan on January 10, 2026, and because of time zones, most of us will actually get it on January 9. This isn’t just more Fire Force episodes. This is the finale of Atsushi Okubo’s story, where Shinra, the Evangelist, and the truth behind this world all smash together.

When it drops

Japan gets the TV broadcast on January 10 at a very specific 1:53 AM JST. Yes, 1:53. Late-night anime blocks in Japan love oddly precise start times. The Crunchyroll simulcast starts a little later: January 10 at 2:30 AM JST, which is what the regional times below are based on.

Where to watch

Crunchyroll is the main stop for Season 3 Cour 2 worldwide and still has every previous season and cour if you need a refresher (or a full binge before the fireworks). Netflix Japan will stream the new episodes locally. No word on international Netflix availability yet, so if you’re outside Japan, Crunchyroll is the play.

What this cour covers

The anime launched in 2019, adapting Okubo’s manga that started back in 2015 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and wrapped in 2022 with volume 34. Cour 2 is expected to adapt the manga’s final arcs, which is where everything goes critical.

Company 8 gets branded as traitors. Captain Obi is taken by the Tokyo Imperial Army. The Fire Force starts eating itself from the inside while the Evangelist’s plan nears completion. Shinra isn’t just fighting enemies anymore; he’s fighting the pull of fate as the series finally lays out the truth of Adolla, spontaneous human combustion, and how this world actually came to be.

In other words: massive battles, warped reality visuals, emotional callbacks to Shinra’s family, and his ultimate showdown with the Evangelist. Crunchyroll’s new main trailer (labeled Trailer 2) flashes plenty of endgame chaos: Tokyo looking like a furnace, alliances cracking, and Shinra literally answering fire with fire.

Music and studio

David Production is back for the final stretch. The opening theme is Ignis by Takanori Nishikawa, pure hype fuel, and the ending theme is Speak of the Devil by Survive Said The Prophet, which leans into the darker, closing-chapter mood.

Reception snapshot

Fire Force is still pulling global attention and currently sits at 7.6/10 on IMDb. Feels right for a show that has been building toward a loud, chaotic, and surprisingly emotional farewell.
