A crime thriller, a K-drama, and an adult animation. What's your poison?

Despite the Hollywood strikes delaying the production of many projects, the number of new Netflix shows and movies is truly impressive. Every week, the platform releases new titles from around the world, including many originals.

If you're feeling lost in this ocean of content but don't want to miss any of the shows that will be talked about for days to come, we've put together an exhaustive list of new series coming to Netflix this week(see below).

Naturally, some of these shows are bigger than others. Naturally, you've got the much anticipated Elite, Big Mouth, and other new releases fans have been looking forward to, but there are also other less hyped-up but no less interesting premieres this week starting October 16th.

Bodies (Limited Series) Thursday

Paul Tomalin developed this mystery-thriller miniseries for Netflix on the basis of Si Spencer's DC graphic novel. The story focuses on four murders and the detectives who investigate them. All the crimes were committed in London, but in different time periods: the 1890s, the 1940s, 2014, and even the post-apocalyptic 2050. What connects these murders and these people?

The time-bending series features an all-star cast, including Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Shira Haas, Amaka Okafor, and Kyle Soller.

Doona! (Season 1) Friday

Many K-pop fans are excited for the premiere of the Netflix original South Korean series starring Bae Suzy (While You Were Sleeping, Vagabond) and Yang Se-jong (Still 17, My Country: The New Age).

The story follows the romance between an average college student with a heart of gold and a retired K-pop idol who moves into his dorm. Though an unlikely pairing at first, the protagonists find solace in each other and unearth some secrets along the way.

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix (Season 1) Thursday

Adi Shankar's French adult animated series is based on the world and characters of Ubisoft franchise games. Set in the dystopian technocratic world of the alternate 1990s, the story follows a modified super soldier who must lead a team of prisoners doing the government's dirty work.
