Netflix lights up November 24–30 with the big one: Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1 drops Wednesday, November 26 to kick off the long-awaited final chapter, while holiday caper Jingle Bell Heist also joins the week’s fresh arrivals.

This week on Netflix is all about Hawkins, a holiday heist, and one last splash from DC. It’s a busy lineup, with Stranger Things back in a big way, a rom-com caper rolling into London, and Aquaman wrapping up an era. Here’s what’s actually worth your time and when it drops.

Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1 (Wed, Nov 26)

Netflix is kicking off the final Stranger Things season with a split rollout, and Volume 1 lands Wednesday, November 26 at 5 p.m. PT. Yes, 5 p.m. PT. Unusual time for Netflix, but here we are.

This first batch is set to tie off a bunch of long-hanging threads, with Eleven and the gang pushing toward their showdown with Vecna. The core cast is back, and there are a few fresh faces in the mix: Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton. Expect the show’s usual blend of sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and nostalgia, now pointed straight at the finish line.

Jingle Bell Heist (Wed, Nov 26)

Also dropping Wednesday: Jingle Bell Heist, a Christmas-themed romantic crime comedy directed by Michael Fimognari and written by Abby McDonald. The setup is clean and clever: Sophia, a sharp-tongued retail worker, and Nick, a repairman with a serious luck problem, both live double lives as small-time thieves. They collide while trying to rob the same target — London’s biggest department store — and end up teaming up. Of course, the heist gets complicated by an inconvenient spark between them. Seasonal chaos ensues.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Thu, Nov 27)

On Thursday, James Wan’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom swims onto Netflix. It’s the final chapter of the now-defunct DC Extended Universe. Plot-wise: Arthur Curry has to partner with his jailed half-brother Orm to stop Black Manta, who’s still out for revenge over his father’s death. Big-scale underwater spectacle, sibling tension, classic nemesis energy — and a curtain call for the DCEU.
