Chicago P.D. barrels toward Season 13 Episode 3 after a bruising Pilsen flash-kidnapping case left Torres bloodied and Voight charging in. Here’s when the next chapter drops and where to watch.

If you are keeping up with Chicago P.D., the next hour drops soon. Season 13, Episode 3 is almost here, and after last week, Torres could use a break… not that this show ever gives anyone one.

Previously on Chicago P.D.: Open Wounds

Episode 2 zeroed in on a quick-strike kidnapping in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. A woman flagged down Torres for help, he chased down one of the suspects, and it went sideways fast. Torres got banged up in the scuffle, Voight swooped in to get him patched up, and the team ultimately pulled the abducted victim out of danger. The bigger thread: Torres is still running on no sleep and wrestling with last season's trauma, which the episode made pretty hard to miss.

When and where to watch Episode 3

  • Air date and time: Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT
  • How to watch in the U.S.: NBC, the broadcast network that also carries The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and the rest of the Chicago shows

What the show is

A riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's District 21 who put it all on the line to serve and protect their community. District 21 is made up of two distinctly different groups: the uniformed cops who patrol the beat and go head-to-head with the city's street crimes and the Intelligence Unit that combats the city's major offenses - organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders, and beyond.

Short version: the uniforms handle the street-level chaos, Intelligence plays chess with the big fish, and everyone pays for it in one way or another. See you Wednesday.
