Heads up, Abbott Elementary fans: the next episode is almost here. After last week took the teachers out to the ballpark, we are right back on a midweek drop with a slightly odd start time. Here is the quick rundown so you do not miss it.

Where to watch

You can stream Season 5 Episode 4 on Hulu.

If you are new to it: Hulu has a big mix of TV, movies, and originals (think Only Murders in the Building, The Bear, Shogun, Paradise, and The Handmaid's Tale). New episodes from many network shows usually show up about a day after they air. Plans come in both ad-supported and ad-free flavors.

Quick catch-up: last episode

Season 5 Episode 3, titled 'Ballgame,' pulled the Abbott crew into a Teachers' Appreciation Night at a Philadelphia Phillies game. Janine, who is not exactly a baseball person, initially tapped out. She eventually tagged along anyway, and, in classic Abbott fashion, things did not go the way anyone expected.

What the show is about

Abbott Elementary is a workplace comedy set in a Philadelphia public school, following a group of deeply committed teachers and their not-always-on-the-same-page principal. The staff is underfunded, outnumbered, and frequently battling the system, but they keep showing up to give their students a shot at something better. It is heartfelt, chaotic, and very easy to root for.
