Disney Plus revs up November 24–30 with Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember debuting Monday, leading a lineup that also resurrects The Beatles Anthology and delivers festive mischief with Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol.
Thanksgiving week on Disney+ is basically a cozy grab bag: one very personal Chris Hemsworth doc, a full Beatles deep-dive rolled out over three days, and a new Prep & Landing adventure for the holiday crowd. Plus the regular weekly drops for families and reality TV folks.
The highlights
Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember arrives Monday, Nov 24. It’s exactly what it sounds like: Hemsworth and his dad hit the road after his father is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, retracing places that matter to them and filming it like a home movie. It’s intimate, not glossy, and if you’re even a little sentimental, prepare accordingly.
Then Disney+ spends midweek with The Beatles Anthology, trickling it out Wednesday through Friday. The doc series covers the band’s rise and the lives of the four guys inside the machine. It’s a staggered drop: three episodes on Wednesday, three more Thursday, and the final three on Friday. If you’re off for the holiday, the timing is not subtle.
On Friday, Nov 28, we get Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol. Wayne and Lanny are back running a string of holiday missions that go spectacularly wrong, which sends Wayne spiraling that he’s on Santa’s naughty list. Classic seasonal chaos.
Also worth a flag: new episodes of Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends Season 4 hit Wednesday. That’s the preschool-friendly team-up of Spidey (Peter Parker), Spin (Miles Morales), and Ghost-Spider (Gwen Stacy), with frequent pop-ins from other heroes and regular dust-ups with Doc Ock and Green Goblin.
