Here is what Disney Plus is rolling out the week of September 22-28, 2025: a docuseries dig into ancient Egypt, a zombie-fied Marvel detour, a double-dose of a Korean spy thriller, and yes, a fresh season of The Simpsons because of course that show will outlive us all. Marvel Zombies
Marvel goes full apocalypse in an alternate universe where a virus turns huge swaths of the population into zombies — including some of the Avengers. A small group of survivors tries to figure out what happened and how to stop it. The notable part: it premieres with all episodes at once, so you can binge the outbreak instead of waiting week to week.
Lost Treasures of Egypt (Season 6)
The dig team is back. This docuseries follows archaeologists chasing and examining Egypt's long-buried finds, episode after episode of dusty tunnels and surprising artifacts. Season 6 lands in one go, all episodes dropping the same day.
Tempest (Episodes 6 & 7)
This spy thriller pairs a former diplomat with a special agent to unpack a dangerous incident on the Korean Peninsula. Stakes are high, clock is ticking, and Disney Plus is dropping Episodes 6 and 7 together midweek — a nice little two-for-one to keep the momentum up.
The Simpsons (Season 36)
Springfield is still open for business. The long-running animated satire keeps poking at American middle-class life through its favorite dysfunctional family. Chaos ensues, feelings get hurt, and somehow they still show up for each other by the end. New season, same sharp elbows.
