CBS' new action drama Tracker, which follows Justin Hartley's Colter Shaw as he makes a living helping various law enforcement agencies and private citizens find missing people and objects, premiered in February and has just aired the final episode of its first season. The show has already become a hit, thanks in part to its star-studded cast, which includes Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Jensen Ackles and Jennifer Morrison.

Hartley's wife, Sofia Pernas, also appears on the show as a recurring character. And it seems that working with each other has been quite an experience for the actors.

'She hated it,' Justin Hartley laughed about his time on the set with his wife. 'No, we have a great time together. I just thought it would be a really cool idea. It was sort of my idea from the beginning to have this character.'

On Tracker, Sofia Pernas plays the renowned Billie Matalon, who is Colter Shaw's main competition and a rival tracker. According to Justin Hartley, he wanted to create a sense of intrigue around the character, who most people would think is a man, and then reveal that it's his wife Sofia's role on the show. Interestingly, the actor believes it actually helped develop Billie that he and Sofia have an off-screen relationship, which allowed them to discuss the character in more detail than is normally done.

Will Sofia Pernas Return in Season 2 of Tracker?

A month on the air, Tracker was renewed for a second season, which means the story of Colter Shaw, his amazing adventures in his job and hefty family drama are to further unfold. As for Sofia Pernas' Billie, she will play an important role in the next season plot.

'We have some pretty cool stuff for her to do next year. She'll be back several times next year.' Justin Hartley said of his wife's involvement in Season 2 of Tracker. 'I think we'd be remiss not to bring her back. We built this really great group of actors [who are] hopefully more than willing to come back, because we'd love to play more with them. We have a bunch of stories to tell with all [of them].'
