Cobra Kai Season 6 Parts 2 & 3: Release Date & Everything We Know

Cobra Kai is a rare example of a classic comeback that works, taking one of the most popular movies of the 80s to the next level. The series is based on the original The Karate Kid franchise and pays homage to its antagonist, Johnny Lawrence.
However, you can watch the series without the baggage of love for 80s movies – Cobra Kai is a completely independent teen show, and quite funny at that.
The show has been canceled before, but it seems that the love of the fans forced Netflix to keep Cobra Kai on the air. Now, showrunners Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald promise that before they leave, viewers will have the most ambitious season that will close all the arcs.
And the end of Cobra Kai is planned to be really big. Netflix has a special strategy that it applies only to its most popular or promising projects – it divides the season into several parts.
Cobra Kai Part 2 & Part 3 Release Dates
This is what happened with Cobra Kai – the sixth season was divided not into two, but into three parts. The first part is already available – it was released on Netflix on July 18th.
Season 6 will be the longest season in the show's history, with 15 episodes instead of 10. Director Jon Hurwitz advised fans not to think of the season as one, but rather as three separate five-episode mini-seasons.
For the other two parts will have to wait, and for a long time. The second part of the sixth season will be released in three months – on November 15. The third chapter does not yet have an exact release date, but it is known that we will not see it until 2025.
What Happens is Season 6?
In Season 6, we will see the resolution of the main storylines. Johnny and Carmen are expecting a baby and Robby is still trying to help Kenny. Also, Johnny and Daniel will forget old grudges and take their students to a major international karate tournament – Sekai Taikai. The Cobra Kai team will face strong competition in the fight for the grand prize.
Season 6 sees the return of Kreese, who is determined to take revenge on Johnny and Daniel and regain control of Cobra Kai. Viewers will see Kreese's struggle with his inner demons. Johnny, his friends and wards will have to summon all their strength, courage and bravery to expose and defeat Terry.
