Chris Evans' Brother Is in Barbie Movie: Here's Who He's Playing

Chris Evans has made a name for himself in Hollywood as an action movie star, most famous for his role as superhero Captain America in the Marvel franchise, as well as roles in Knives Out, and The Gray Man among many others.

His brother, Scott Evans, does not have as big a track record in the film and television industry but is known for his role on the soap opera One Life To Live as well as Grace and Frankie.

Now, it's time for Scott Evans to shine, having been announced to play the role of 'Ken' in the upcoming Barbie movie. It is worth noting that there will be many Kens, with a series of quirky posters introducing the different Kens, with Scott's poster showing him in a sassy pose, donning a pink cowboy hat. Scott announced his role via an Instagram post on his page, in which he shared his Ken poster with the caption, 'Call me Ken!'

The lead Ken will be played by Ryan Gosling, with Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and Simu Liu also playing Kens.

When asked about his feelings towards his role, Scott described feelings of joy and disbelief, saying that, 'I cried very hard, like, I was hyperventilating, proudly crying,' and that, ' Every day was a dream, getting to work with people like Greta and Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.'

Behind the scenes of the Barbie movie may have been magical for Scott, and judging by the recently released trailer, the movie itself looks just as enchanting. With Greta Gerwig in the director's chair, fans are eagerly waiting to see what has been created.

It has been 3 years since Scott Evans last appeared in a film, and the actor is excited to appear once again on screen. Will the Barbie movie mark his return to Hollywood and score him bigger movie roles? Only time will tell.

Scott is openly homosexual, having come out at the age of 19, and many have wondered if this will be expressed in his Ken character in the Barbie movie, as Kens are meant to be paired with Barbie dolls.
