Cheating? No Problem for These Forgiving Stars

Before divorcing Vincent Cassel, Monica said she was not at all bothered by other women in her spouse's life and that she wasn't one bit jealous. It was common knowledge the couple had an open relationship and were constantly seeing other people. They still divorced, eventually, but whatever may have caused that, it surely can’t have been infidelity.

Scarlet once said in an interview that she didn't believe monogamy was what nature intended for people, even though she had the utmost respect for monogamous relationships and had been in ones herself. She elaborated that staying faithful to your spouse in marriage was a very challenging job, adding that we shouldn't pass judgement on people who fail to do that. Scarlet has been married three times, and at this point, it's unclear whether she practises what she preaches.

Cameron Diaz is now happily married to musician Benji Madden, but she has had many complicated relationships, which she has openly talked about with reporters. She believes everybody cheats, and everyone who's ever been in a long-term relationship has cheated at some point. She says she doesn't know how to solve the problem of infidelity. We don't know if she's changed her opinion since getting married.

Transformers star Megan Fox never set out to get married and have a partner for life. Instead, she and Brian Austin Green negotiated open relationship terms, under which infidelity didn’t count. Their marriage lasted ten years, but after they got divorced, Brian admitted that his former wife’s fling with Colson Baker still stings.

Jolie once noted that she didn't believe fidelity was key in a relationship, adding that neither her nor Brad Pitt ever believed that living together meant being changed to each other. Jolie has had a turbulent love life: she was never in a hurry to go fully monogamous, but she's never openly talked about any of her extramarital affairs either. Even after divorcing Brad Pitt, she remains silent on the subject.

Tilda Swinton is one of those stars who does not mind extramarital affairs as long as they do not evolve into something more significant. Since 2004, she has been dating visual artist Sandro Kopp, with whom she has an open relationship. She says that while it may seem strange to some people, it's the best option for the kids: the couple can stay together while giving each other plenty of space.
