Bridgerton Update Suggests Mid-June Season 3 Release Date Announcement

The ending of Bridgerton Season 2 left fans eager for the next installment, desperate to find out what happens next for their favorite Regency-era characters.

The Queen Charlotte series stole the spotlight and gave Bridgerton fans another taste of the Regency era they love so much, with a passionate, bittersweet romance dubbed 'The love story that changed the ton' by Bridgerton's official Instagram account. Now that most fans have binged and finished the mini-series, they are desperate for the next love story.

So when is Bridgerton Season 3 coming out, and more importantly, when will we find out when it is coming out? The upcoming Tudum event in São Paulo may hold the answers fans are looking for.

The event held by Netflix's official companion and fandom site promises two floors full of immersive experiences, games and attractions for the public to enjoy that revolve around some of the public's most loved Netflix shows including Stranger Things, Heartstopper and of course, Bridgerton.

'Netflix's most anticipated in-person event' will be taking place on June 16, 17, and 18, and large volumes of tickets are being given away for free, which has many hoping that something big is in the works, hopefully, a surprise announcement.

One Reddit user is hoping that 'this means we will find out the season 3 air date in mid-June with a trailer.'

Based on how Netflix has done previous announcements, another Redditor commented, 'If it's announced in June I'm thinking August September. But if we get the trailer/announcement I'm saying august.'

The majority of sites have speculated that season 3 of Bridgerton could be released in September or October this year, but it could be as late as December, there is simply no definitive answer.

The Tudum event will take place in a little over a month from now, so fans will have to wait and hope that it serves as the platform for a Season 3 release date announcement or the much-anticipated trailer for the next installment.

It has been confirmed that 'Kate and Anthony are just getting started,' that Colin and Penelope will be the central love story, and possibly some new characters and stories. So far, there has been lots of talk about the 'What' but we'll have to wait for Tudum to hopefully get some long-awaited answers about the 'When.'
