Young Queen Charlotte and Edwina Sharma together on screen? Yes, please.

Though they didn't have the opportunity to work together on the set of Bridgerton, Charithra Chandran and India Amarteifio recently joined forces on camera while filming the new music video for PinkPantheress' Mosquito.

The video, which premiered on all major platforms and social media on September 29, features PinkPantheress and her girl squad, including Amarteifio, Chandran and Black-ish's Yara Shahidi, going on a shopping spree at London's Royal Arcade, and gives off such a big 2000s vibe that it's impossible not to get in a nostalgic mood.

Fans are buzzing

All the video stars shared PinkPantheress' new music video on their social media.

'MOSQUITO MV out now! Thanks for a wicked shoot and for creating possibly the most catchy tune in the world xoxo,' India Amarteifio captioned her post, sharing the video with her 1.5 million followers.

Everything about the song, from the smooth beat selection and thoughtful lyrics to the stunning vocals and cinematography, sent fans into a frenzy. For Bridgerverse fans, however, it was especially heartwarming to see the ‘Bridgerton girlies’ together on screen.

Amarteifio played Queen Charlotte in Shonda Rhimes' Bridgerton prequel, and Chandran portrayed Edwina Sharma, Kate's younger sister in Season 2 of the original show. Because their stories unfolded in different time periods, the two never had a chance to work together. Edwina only met the older Queen Charlotte, played by Golda Rosheuvel.

Furthermore, to the dismay of many fans, both Chandran and Amarteifio will most likely not return to the Bridgerverse in the future. Queen Charlotte was conceived as a miniseries, and Charithra confirmed in an interview with The Indian Express last year that she would not be returning for Season 3.

But now that we've seen the actresses on a set together, the chemistry between them is hard to deny, and fans want more.

'I want a TV show of these ladies now, their friendship seems like it would make for an incredible early-2000s girls comedy,' one fan wrote on YouTube.

How can we argue with this, really?
