Bold & Beautiful Fans Are Ready To Boot One Character From The Show
Fans got tired of one character, and it's not hard to see why.
CBS' The Bold and The Beautiful is one of the longest-running soap operas in the world, as the first episode of the show premiered back in 1987. Since then, millions of viewers have passionately followed the Foster family and their high fashion business, empathizing with them over their troubles and numerous deaths in the family and cheering them on during their successes.
However, being on the air for almost four decades is a big deal, and it's only natural that fans began to grow tired of some of the characters and urged the producers to get rid of them.
Taylor Hayes first appeared on the soap as a world-renowned psychiatrist and a quintessential good person, but the woman turned into a real villain over the years. However, despite all her flaws, fans loved the character when she was played by Hunter Tylo, but now that the actress has stepped down from the project and Krista Allen picked up the role, fans' patience ran out.
While Allen's performance is great and certainly not to blame, the new face in the role made the established character's flaws more apparent, and viewers finally saw what kind of person Taylor actually was. Fans began to accuse Taylor of being a vicious gaslighter and a generally despicable character, and asked the producers to get rid of her for good.
'I found it ridiculous that she had the nerve to accuse Brooke of being a gaslighter when she has been doing that herself,' one fan pointed out on Reddit. 'Taylor acted more like a teenager than Brooke ever did. The cruel comments she said to Brooke and how she behaved that day, I was so disappointed in her.'
It looks like Taylor's cruel behavior is finally getting to her, as viewers are already skipping most of the scenes with the character so as not to ruin their mood, and the whole show is suffering because of it.
While soap operas often tend to keep controversial characters on the air to attract more fans to follow the series, Taylor Hayes may actually bring The Bold and The Beautiful down if the producers don't write her off the show.
