Reality show fans are happy to see the captain again.

For more than a decade, Bravo's most critically acclaimed reality series, Below Deck, was led by one person — Captain Lee Rosbach, who oversaw all the crewmembers, helping them and the viewers feel good about the show from season to season.

However, since Captain Lee is already 73 years old, Bravo decided to retire him from Below Deck amidst his health problems that plagued the last season, but it's not like the network is getting rid of their perennial star for good.

Just recently, it was officially announced that Lee will be coming back to host another show for Bravo. But as always, there's a small catch — the new show won't focus exclusively on Below Deck content, and Lee won't be the only person hosting it.

While some fans were fully expecting to see Captain Lee host a brand new reality show somehow related to the world of luxury yachting, Bravo had another idea in mind for Lee. The captain was recently named as one of the co-hosts for the upcoming talk show that will feature another fan-favorite Below Deck personality — former Chef Kate Chastain!

The upcoming show is titled Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate and will see the popular personalities cozily discussing the biggest Bravo moments of the week, paying attention to all of the network's reality series including Below Deck, the Real Housewives franchise, and many more.

Needless to say, it would be extremely interesting to hear Captain Lee's thoughts on the various reality shows. His no-nonsense approach and gentlemanly demeanor are sure to reward viewers with some pretty curious shots and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Also, considering how well Lee and Kate worked together on Below Deck in the past, it's clear that their chemistry will be off the charts, resulting in another compelling hit for the network.

With two larger-than-life personalities as hosts, Couch Talk could even try to top Bravo's other hit talk show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. That would be a huge win for the network, which has been in desperate need of some fresh blood for quite some time.

Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate premieres August 14, 2023, at 10 pm on Bravo.
