BBC Finally Confirms Celebrity Traitors Premiere Date, Drops First-Look Trailer — Plus a Surprise Bonus for Fans

The countdown is on—fans are on the cusp of the moment they've been waiting for.
We have been asking for this since The Traitors landed in 2022: what if you shoved a bunch of famous people into that castle and let paranoia do its thing? It is finally happening, and yes, the BBC brought receipts.
When and where to watch
A new trailer dropped during last night’s Strictly Come Dancing launch show and confirmed the date: Celebrity Traitors premieres at 9pm on Wednesday 8 October 2025 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
The first episode is supersized at 70 minutes. After that, the show settles into a twice-a-week rhythm at 9pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Host, castle, carnage
Claudia Winkleman is back in the Scottish castle, fringe unbothered, reminding the celebs that fame does not buy you safety here.
"Your glamorous lives count for nothing... most of you will be murdered."
Lighthearted! But, you know, accurate for this show.
The lineup
It is a properly stacked cast mixing TV fixtures, musicians, comics, an academic, and a couple of athletes. In alphabetical order:

The aftershow
Running alongside the main event is Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, once again hosted by Ed Gamble. It will follow the episodes on BBC Two, and you can also get it on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer. Expect celebrities and players from past seasons picking apart the latest betrayals and castle chaos.
Meanwhile, in the main series
The regular version of The Traitors returns for season 4 next year. The BBC has already locked in season 5 too, and applications are open if you fancy being suspicious for a living.
