Avengers: Doomsday’s Next Teaser Gets Supersized — And A Chilling Doctor Doom Trailer Is Reportedly Coming
Doctor Doom storms back, weaponizing fear and daring the world to blink.
The Avengers: Doomsday hype train is fully out of the station. The next teaser is longer, and the one after that might actually try to spook you. And yes, this came to light thanks to a Finnish ratings board listing. Weird place to find it, but here we are.
The Finnish listing that spilled the tea
Buried in the Finnish National Audiovisual Institute (KAVI) database is a new entry for the second Avengers: Doomsday teaser, clocking in at 99 seconds. That edges out last week’s Steve Rogers-focused teaser, which ran 82 seconds. The same cluster of reporting says this second teaser is expected to be Thor-centric and will be attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash screenings.
"scary moments"
That quote is tied to the third trailer’s listing, which notes content that could unsettle younger viewers. The talk around town is that trailer three spotlights Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, which would explain the vibe shift.
How the rollout looks right now
- Teaser 1: 82 seconds, Steve Rogers-centric, already playing in theaters as part of a staggered rollout.
- Teaser 2: 99 seconds, reportedly Thor-focused, expected to be attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash.
- Trailer 3: Said to center on Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, with KAVI flagging those "scary moments."
- Trailer 4: Part of the plan, details not public yet. All four are set to roll out over the next month.
Marvel cranking the clock
With just under a year to go, the marketing switch has definitely been flipped. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo even posted a Doomsday Clock to kick off the countdown while that first Steve Rogers teaser continues a staggered theater rollout.
The movie, the multiverse, the whole shebang
Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18, 2026, and it’s positioned as the beginning of the Multiverse Saga endgame. Expect worlds colliding: legacy X-Men actors, the current Fantastic Four lineup, and a mix of MCU regulars and new faces all sharing the screen. If you remember that very odd March chair livestream, that’s where a lot of this crossover madness was first teased.
What’s next while we wait
Next up on the MCU calendar is Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026. Like the first Doomsday teaser, that one’s already had its own leak drama too. Welcome to blockbuster season, forever.
