AGT 20 Eliminations: Shocking Results And Who Actually Made It Through

America's Got Talent 20 just dropped another elimination bombshell. Tonight's episode was packed with big performances, shocking moments, and brutal cuts.
AGT trimmed the herd tonight. Quarterfinals round 2 sent a pile of acts packing, bumped three into the semis, and continued this season's new obsession with fast-tracking people via various Golden Buzzers. Here's who survived, who didn't, and what the show's doing next.
For context: this is season 20, quarterfinals round 2. Seven acts went home, three moved on. We also already had some semifinalists locked from last week, plus two finalists who skipped the semis entirely thanks to the Live Golden Buzzer twist. Yes, the buzzer math is getting a little wild.
The scoreboard
- Eliminated (sent home in quarterfinals round 2): Duo Stardust, Ben Hightower, Alain Simonov, Alex Zinger, Jonglissimo, Boston Dynamics, EDT Dance Team
- Advanced to the semifinals from this episode: Bay Melnick Virgolino, Leo High School Choir, Unreal
- Already confirmed for the semifinals (from earlier voting): Light Wire, Sirca Marea, Jourdan Blue
- Already in the grand finale via Live Golden Buzzer: Mama Duke (Mel B's Golden Buzzer) and Steve Ray Ladsen (Sofia Vergara's Golden Buzzer last week)
Semifinals are about to get crowded and buzzer-happy.
On Tuesday, September 16, one act will snag a brand-new Semifinal Golden Buzzer and jump straight to the finale, no voting required. Everyone else will rely on America's vote, with results revealed on Wednesday. And because AGT loves stacking twists, one lucky act will also get a special Golden Buzzer from the judges during results.
Finale week
Finalists face off on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Voting opens at 6 p.m. ET that night, and the winner is announced on Wednesday. The prize? A cool $1 million.
