Stranger Things may be ending, but Sadie Sink’s ascent is only accelerating — with Spider-Man: Brand New Day and four more projects already queued, the fan favorite is poised to dominate Hollywood’s next chapter.

Sadie Sink broke out as Max on Stranger Things, and even with that show heading into its endgame, her schedule is heating up, not cooling down. Some of this slate is locked, some of it is reported-but-not-fully-detailed, and a few items have that classic Hollywood haze around them. Here is what she has coming up and what is actually confirmed versus rumored.

  • Stranger Things 5 (2025, per social roundup)
  • Spider-Man: Brand New Day (US release July 31, 2026; in post; Tom Holland’s 4th Spidey movie)
  • Romeo and Juliet (West End run March 16 to June 6, 2026, Harold Pinter Theatre; 12 weeks; directed by Robert Icke; co-starring Noah Jupe)
  • John Proctor is the Villain (feature at Universal; Sink executive producing; screenplay by Kimberly Belflower; produced by Tina Fey and Marc Platt; no trailer or release date yet)
  • Avengers: Secret Wars (US release December 17, 2027; casting for Sink is reported, not yet detailed)

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)

Sink is set to appear in Tom Holland’s fourth solo outing as Peter Parker. Who she is playing is still under wraps, which has sent fans down every speculation rabbit hole imaginable. The movie itself is in post-production and picks up with Peter rebuilding his life now that the world does not remember who he is, juggling college and a job while a new threat destabilizes New York. Expect old baggage, new allies, and Peter redefining what being a hero looks like when he is truly on his own. It hits US theaters July 31, 2026.

Romeo and Juliet (West End, 2026)

Sink is heading to London for a 12-week run of Shakespeare at the Harold Pinter Theatre, performing opposite Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place). Both will be making their Shakespeare stage debuts. The production is directed by Robert Icke, whose calling card is sleek, emotionally charged reinterpretations; the promise here is a tight, contemporary staging that puts the doomed lovers front and center.

"In a minute there are many days"

The show runs March 16 through June 6, 2026.

John Proctor is the Villain

The Tony-nominated play is getting a film at Universal, and Sink is not just starring; she is also executive producing. The Hollywood Reporter first flagged the project, with Tina Fey and Marc Platt producing and playwright Kimberly Belflower adapting her own script. The story is set in a rural Georgia high school during the #MeToo era, where a class studying Arthur Miller’s The Crucible faces an incident that forces the girls to reexamine the play, their community, and their own power. As of now, there is no trailer, no first-look photos, and no release date. Worth noting: some social posts list 2026, but Universal has not announced a date.

Avengers: Secret Wars (2027)

After her Marvel entry in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Sink is reportedly part of Avengers: Secret Wars. That is about where the concrete info ends for now: her role and its size are under wraps. The film is slated for December 17, 2027 in the US.

Stranger Things 5 (2025)

Before all that, there is still one last trip to Hawkins. The final season of Stranger Things is on deck, targeted for 2025 per the current social-media roundup. Timing aside, it is the capstone to the role that put Sink on the map.

Bottom line: if even half of this sticks as scheduled, Sink’s next couple years are stacked. I will update as roles get confirmed and dates lock.
