After Masked Singer Episode 10, Here Are Our Final Predictions
The true identities of all the masks are pretty obvious at this stage of the competitions.
Fox's reality singing competition recently updated its format to allow some big names to hide behind the masks for just one episode.
The decision delighted fans, as seeing big celebrities on the show is refreshing and simply more fun! However, as the competition currently stands, only the really committed stars are left to play, and here's our final prediction of who's hiding behind the remaining masks.
California Roll
One of this season's champions, California Roll is a full-fledged five-piece band that shocked viewers with their perfect harmonies and crazy chemistry on stage, leading the judges to predict the likes of the Backstreet Boys and One Direction. While those guesses are unrealistic, as one of the Rolls is clearly a woman, we have a pretty accurate prediction of our own — California Roll is in fact an a cappella group called Pentatonix.
The clues fit perfectly, as the band has more than five billion views on YouTube and has worked with both Snoop Dogg and Dolly Parton.
Macaw
The next champion is a little trickier to unmask, but the revelation of a silver medal as one of the clues really sealed the deal for us — Macaw is actually American Idol runner-up David Archuleta, who not only performed in the various Mexican restaurants his father took him to but also went through a public battle with panic attacks and the pressures of fame.
UFO
Ever since the clues revealed that UFO was somehow connected to the fashion industry, fans have been looking for a suitable candidate. And it looks like Miss Universe Olivia Culpo is the best fit, as her 'universal' fame certainly suggests the alien theme, while her great singing voice only proves that she is the one hiding behind the mask.
Medusa
While one of the most mysterious contestants may be eliminated in the next episode, her identity is still a big mystery to fans.
People were obviously confused when a giant chessboard was shown as one of the clues, but it got us thinking — it looks like Medusa is actually a singer named Bishop Briggs, as her name matches the clue perfectly.
Gargoyle
Gargoyle's true identity is as much of a mystery as Medusa's, and the clues provided for him are even more questionable. The only thing that got fans excited was an 'I Love LA' bumper sticker. We think that LA Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is behind the mask, as he is the one player known for his great singing skills.
Mantis
The identity of the last of the Jokers was a bit easier to crack because the clue packet provided for him contained poker chips and revealed that Mantis had acted on Broadway and published a book.
With this set of clues, it is only natural to conclude that Lou Diamond Phillips is hiding behind the mask.
