The End of the F*cking World

The dark and moody series is not your average runaway teens love story. Misfit highschoolers James and Alyssa, embark on a trip together to find Alyssa's father, but what Alyssa doesn't know is that James is a self-diagnosed psychopath and has chosen her to be his first victim.

The two odd characters are relatable as they figure out themselves, each other, and love, along the chaotic and darkly comedic journey.

Daybreak

This post-apocalyptic drama-comedy proves that there can be cliques even in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Daybreak follows Josh as he searches for his missing girlfriend in the apocalypse, battling zombies called 'Ghoulies' as well as evil cheerleaders and sadistic jocks who have created their own tribes. It's got all the typical eye-roll-inducing teen drama and dynamics, made unique with an end-of-the-world setting and a quest for love.

Elite

This Spanish drama follows the clash of social class, as three working-class students enroll at an elite school on scholarships. They don't fit in amongst their wealthy peers, and there is another juicy teen drama involving gossip, cliques, sex, and more, but Elite throws in a murder mystery, and jumps between two different timelines as the story unravels.

Dare Me

Cheerleading has never been darker. This series follows best friends Beth and Addy, whose relationship turns volatile after the arrival of a new cheer coach who takes Addy under her wing. There's plenty of typical girl drama, jealousy, and rivalries, along with dark secrets that take the girls down a rabbit hole.

Trinkets

Three very different girls become friends over one shared trait: they are all shoplifters. Trinkets follows Elodie, Moe, and Tabitha who meet at a Shoplifters Anonymous meeting, and slowly form a rather unexpected friendship. Unlike most teen dramas, Trinkets doesn't focus on sex or drugs and simply tells the coming-of-age story of three very different girls, their struggles, and kleptomaniac habits.

Atypical

We are well accustomed to teen series focusing on issues like drugs, alcohol, sexuality, and race, but Atypical addresses a topic we certainly don't see enough of: autism. The series is lighthearted, and something different, and follows 18-year-old Samuel, who is on the spectrum, navigating his teen years and life with autism, whilst yearning for 'normal' teen things, like having a girlfriend and being intimate.

Lockwood and Co

Teens hold all the power in this series, literally. Lockwood and Co is set in an alternate Britain, plagued by ghosts, and without modern technology, adults cannot sense these ghosts, so teens are recruited to ghost-hunting agencies, like Lockwood and Co. The show follows three young, misfit ghost hunters working together in the start-up agency to make a name for themselves, which comes with hilarious mishaps, a quirky friendship dynamic, and a slow, budding romance.
