5 Worst Things Sheldon Ever Did on Big Bang Theory, Ranked

Most fans agree that Sheldon is the most annoying character on The Big Bang Theory, and although viewers came to love him for what he is, some of his weird and repulsive acts were just too much for the audience to stomach.

Here's a list of five most despicable things Sheldon did throughout TBBT, arranged by the episode's IMDb score from worst to best — you can decide for yourself which act one is the worst of all.

He mistreated Amy after their break-up (7.3/10)

Although Amy and Sheldon end up marrying, the couple had their ups and downs during the course of their relationship. At the end of Season 8, the two split up after five years together, and Sheldon didn't treat his ex nicely after that. In Season 9 Episode 2, Sheldon went to her place to drop off some of her belongings, leaving a red bra among her things to make Amy think he was already seeing someone.

He had the gang ditch the new table Leonard had bought (7.6/10)

In Season 7 Episode 16, Leonard and Penny bought a new dining table at which the whole gang could sit. Sheldon, who is notoriously opposed to changes, refused to use the table and prompted the rest of the gang to ditch the new sitting arrangement. Everyone had to take their usual places, which meant Raj sat at the floor again.

He misplaced the guys' bitcoin, which was eventually lost (7.7/10)

In Season 11 Episode 9, the Pasadena gang realized they had gotten a Bitcoin some years ago, and so they went all over the place trying to retrieve it. In the end, it turned out that Sheldon had transferred the Bitcoin onto Leonard's hard drive that he had lost long ago.

He fed Leonard ice cream made of bugs (8/10)

In the sixth episode of Season 4, Sheldon treated Leonard to a cone of ice cream, which the latter really enjoyed and asked his friend what flavor it was after he finished eating. Sheldon was gloating as he revealed the ice cream was made of mango caterpillars. Yuck!

He blackmailed Pria to make Leonard sign a new roommate agreement (8.2/10)

One of the worst things Sheldon did was blackmailing Pria in Season 4 Episode 21. Raj's younger sister was secretly dating Leonard at the time, and Sheldon threatened to expose their affair if Leonard didn't sign a new roommate agreement that would give Sheldon more power over his unfortunate neighbor. His plan triumphed, but the storyline left fans with a bitter aftertaste.

While The Big Bang Theory came to an end in 2019, Sheldon Cooper continues to annoy viewers in the hit series' spin-off Young Sheldon. The sixth season of the prequel finished airing on May 18, and the seventh one is expected to come out in fall 2023.
