And as The Bachelorette has just wrapped up its latest installment, fans are prepping up for the upcoming Season 28 of The Bachelor, slated for January 2024.

ABC has announced that The Bachelorette's runner-up Joey Graziadei will be the Bachelor next season. Here are five facts about the man that will make you go 'aww.'

5. He got heartbroken on The Bachelorette

Being the runner-up of The Bachelorette Season 20, Joey lasted the longest on the show before getting turned down in the finale. Of course, he was admittedly hurt by the rejection, so fans are hoping the man will finally find his love and happiness on The Bachelor.

Joey never concealed his feelings on the show, sharing his joy and sorrow with the viewers. He was actually the first to tell Charity, last season's Bachelorette, that he was falling in love with her, and that really takes courage! Graziadei is not ashamed of showing emotion, and we think that's commendable.

Shortly after getting rejected, Joey revealed in an interview that his dream was to fall in love and be loved by the person he'd spend the rest of his life with.

'This [rejection] has just shown me how badly I want to be with someone else and get an opportunity to share life with them, because that's all I can think of. I just would ask the universe when, when is it going to happen for me?' the 27-year-old wondered.
