5 Riverdale Cast Members Poised for Post-Series Stardom, According to Reddit
Some are already well-established on the TV and movie scene.
Whenever a popular series ends, thoughts turn to what its stars will do next, and which of them will go on to even greater fame.
And according to Reddit, these 5 Riverdale actors have bright futures:
1. Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge)
According to one user, Mendes is 'definitely' going on to bigger and better things. And the signs are good. Since making her acting debut in Riverdale, the Brazilian-American actress has gone on to star in several other projects, including Netflix's The Perfect Date. She also appeared in Hulu's sci-fi comedy Palm Springs in 2020.
2. Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper)
After moving to LA at the age of 18 to pursue an acting career, Reinhart found it tougher than she expected. In fact, she almost quit after 5 months. However, she started to land roles and got her big break when she was chosen to play Betty in Riverdale. Since then, Reinhart's starred in and produced two movies (Chemical Hearts and Look Both Ways), as well as landing a voice role on The Simpsons.
3. Charles Melton (Reggie Mantle)
After taking over from Ross Butler as the recurring character Reggie Mantle, Melton eventually became a main cast member in Riverdale. He's already been involved in projects outside of Riverdale, including crime drama Poker Face and sketch comedy History of the World, Part II. Although Reddit thinks he could also make it as a model.
4. Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom)
Petsch only had a handful of supporting roles before landing the role of Cheryl. But she's another actress who's seized the opportunity Riverdale has presented her with. As well as playing Cheryl, she's been involved in several productions as an actress and producer. She's also appeared in an episode of The Simpsons.
5. KJ Apa (Archie Andrews)
After winning a Saturn Award for Breakthrough Performance in 2017 for his role as Archie, Apa has gone on to star in several films, including Dead Reckoning and I Still Believe. He hasn't had much TV work aside from Riverdale, although he did appear in 381 episodes of the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street before moving to the US. His next project is the upcoming action film One Fast Move.
