These projects deserve a lot more attention.

It happens that for various reasons, really worthy, exciting series do not reach the mass audience and do not become big hits. As a result, only a few people know about them, which is unfair.

Here are five comedy shows that deserve to be known by as many people as possible.

1. Better Off Ted, 2009-2010

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 95%

The main character Ted works in the research and development department of Veridian Dynamics. This company comes up with incredible things, from an edible material harder than steel to a pumpkin that turns into a deadly weapon. Ted also loves his job, even his boss, and is always trying to improve the world around him.

The series parodies typical office stories, but mixes them with fantasy and absurd humor. Unfortunately, the project did not stay on the air for very long.

2. Miranda, 2009-2015

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 91%

Tall and rather awkward, Miranda owns a joke shop with her friend Stevie. The woman falls in love with a handsome chef from a nearby restaurant, but can't build a relationship with him because of her funny antics.

This series is the author's project of comedian Miranda Hart, who wrote most of the scripts herself and played the main role. And the role of her lover was played by Tom Ellis, now known to everyone from Lucifer.

3. Party Down, 2009-...

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 94%

In order to make a living, not very successful Hollywood actors start a catering company. They try to organize luxurious parties, but every time something goes wrong.

Due to low ratings, the series lasted only two seasons, but gradually became a cult favorite. Especially since the project introduced viewers to many excellent comedians such as Martin Starr and Lizzy Caplan.

4. 30 Rock, 2006-2013

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92%

After the death of the head of the TV station, a new boss, Jack Donaghy, takes his place. He forces the strange, unsuccessful comedian Tracy Jordan to join the popular sketch show. The show's writers have a difficult time with their new boss and colleague.

Tina Fey, who played the main character Liz Lemon, came up with the idea for the project herself and acted as one of the producers of the series. And the role of her boss was played by Alec Baldwin.

5. Malcolm in the Middle, 2000-2006

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 90%

Wise beyond his years, Malcolm grows up in a family with four other children. However, the child's high intelligence only brings him problems: his classmates make fun of him and his unusual experiments usually end badly.

By the way, you can see Bryan Cranston in this series as the father of the family. Long before everyone recognized him from the series Breaking Bad, and in a completely different image.
