Don't dismiss them in favor of blockbuster releases!

This summer seems to be full of movie premieres. But while some of them, like Deadpool & Wolverine, are highly anticipated, others seem to get lost in the shuffle. These five movies definitely don't deserve that fate – you just have to see them!

The Bikeriders (June 21)

Although Jeff Nichols' crime drama premiered at the end of last summer, it is only making its wide theatrical debut this week. Starring Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer and many others, the movie tells the story of the Vandals MC, a fictional Chicago motorcycle club, through the lives of its members. Originally a place that welcomed all outcasts, the club evolves into one of the most notorious and dangerous gangs in the city in the 1960s.

A Quiet Place: Day One (June 28)

The prequel to John Krasinski's horror franchise tells the story of how it all began – how Earth became infested with voracious alien creatures that preyed on anything that made a sound, and how the few survivors were forced to live a life of total silence. Set in New York, the spin-off follows Sam, a young woman caught in the middle of an alien invasion that has changed the world forever.

Fly Me to the Moon (July 12)

Set during the 1960s Space Race, the romantic comedy-drama centers on Channing Tatum's Cole Davis, a NASA director in charge of the Apollo 11 launch, and Scarlett Johansson's Kelly Jones, a PR strategist hired to improve the agency's public image. As they argue about their approaches to the job, they develop feelings for each other that are put to the test when she is tasked with creating a backup plan – fake footage of a staged moon landing.

Twisters (July 19)

The only sequel to the 1996 film Twister, follows a pair of inventors working on a weather alert system. To test their invention, the characters travel across Oklahoma chasing storms. But their scientific approach is put to the test when a local celebrity, the Tornado Wrangler, interrupts with his amateur and very popular method. Hopefully, they can unite their efforts in the face of one of nature's most destructive forces.

The Fabulous Four (July 26)

The upcoming comedy film revolves around four lifelong friends, portrayed by Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Megan Mullally, who reunite after years of not seeing each other for the wedding of one of them. Set in Key West, Florida, the movie explores the hardships of love and friendship that come with age and tackles the theme of self-fulfillment while providing plenty of comic relief.
