Who will be Eloise's endgame?

Eloise Bridgerton is probably the one Bridgerton character who has strayed from her book namesake's path more than others, and even the fans of Julia Quinn's original book series have a hard time predicting Eloise's fate in Season 3 and beyond.

Here's what Bridgerverse fans think will happen to Eloise in the coming seasons. Beware of spoilers!

Eloise and Pen will make up

Even though Eloise has a good reason to be in a feud with Penelope Featherington, fans think it can't last more than half the season. Pen just can't become part of the Bridgerton family without every member of it being on board. Besides, Colin is too protective of his sisters to be interested in marrying Pen before she explains herself to Eloise.

Eloise will never see Theo again

Although Theo was a compelling first love for Eloise, he was most likely a supporting character who simply served as a catalyst for her arc. Their relationship helped Eloise realize that she needs to have a special spiritual connection to the man she chooses to marry eventually. With that mission complete, Theo is not expected to return to the show.

Eloise will penfriend Sir Philip Crane

While in conflict with Penelope, Eloise will need someone to talk to, and fans think this might be the beginning of her pen pal relationship with Sir Philip Crane. Just like in Quinn's novel, the two will begin a correspondence after Philip's wife Marina disappears — she dies in the book, but the show might choose another way to write off the character. Such a storyline will most likely set up Eloise's season to be next.

Eloise and Philip are endgame

Even though the adaptation has taken a turn with Eloise's character, the majority of fans believe that she will end up with Philip. Given that the show has already introduced many characters and details from Eloise's solo book, there seems to be no way the writers would betray the expectations of book fans and not make Philip Eloise's main love interest.

Eloise and Philip's relationship will differ from their book romance

With the way Eloise has been portrayed on the show, she definitely has that 21st-century Shondaland edge to her character, so her love story will have to change to fit her better. Fans think that instead of turning Eloise into a housewife, as in the book, Philip will be the one to support her passions and give her as much freedom as possible for a Regency-era woman.
