5 Burning Questions We Need Answered ASAP in Virgin River Season 5
The new episodes can't come soon enough.
The new season of Virgin River is coming on September 7, and the pre-premiere days can't feel any longer for dedicated fans. The Season 4 finale left us with plenty of food for thought and burning questions.
Here are five Season 4 cliffhangers that we cannot wait to pick up and explore in the upcoming episodes.
1. Who is the father?
Many viewers were shocked by Charmaine's confession that Jack is not the father of her children. She may have said it in a moment of weakness after breaking up with Todd, but it felt genuine. And it raises several questions.
Did Charmaine reveal the truth because she thought that with Jack out of the picture, Todd might come back? Will he? And the most burning question of all, who is the real father? This is definitely a lot to explore in the upcoming chapter.
2. Is Vince dead?
Preacher's life has been disrupted again by Paige and her troubles. But he seems to welcome this. The main question of their storyline is, of course, whether Vince is still alive after Preacher hit him. If he is, how will he get revenge? If not, will there be legal problems for our beloved characters?
In any case, the future doesn't look good for Preacher. Well, at least he is reunited with Paige, which brings up an intriguing storyline of its own.
3. What will happen to Doc's practice?
Both Cameron and Mel have decided to leave the clinic. It is a big change for our favorite protagonist, but it actually makes sense for her now that she is pregnant and engaged to Jack. So the big question is: Will Doc be left high and dry amidst the health problems of his grandson Denny and his partner Hope? Or will Cameron come to his senses and return to the practice?
4. Will Brie take Don down?
It felt good to see Brie stand up to Don when he tried to silence her. We know how scared Jack's sister was of her abusive ex and are proud to see her find her voice and not back down.
The promo materials for Season 5 promise a heated court case between Brie and Don, which makes us wonder about its outcome. It will also be interesting to see how Brady reacts to the whole situation.
5. What's up with Melissa?
The biggest reveal of Season 4 is that Melissa is the evil drug lord and Nick's sister. During the awkward dinner scene, fans couldn't help but wonder if Melissa was part of Jack's glamping business investment. And if she was, how would that affect Mel and Jack's future? Could they find themselves involved in some dangerous, dirty money-laundering schemes?
