Fans haven't forgotten these songs either.

Niall Horan first rose to prominence as one of the five members of the world-famous boy band One Direction, which was formed on the singing competition X-Factor way back in 2010.

Despite releasing just five albums before going on apparently permanent hiatus, One Direction won nearly 200 awards, sold 70 million records worldwide, and raised its members to the ranks of highest-earning celebrities when the band was at the peak of its popularity.

So it's not surprising that even though all the bandmates have gone on to pursue their solo careers, some of them still remember the days of One Direction and regularly listen to their favorite OD songs.

Recently, Niall Horan revealed that four of One Direction songs remain his favorites, and this list includes a couple of unorthodox choices. In a conversation with Pride, Horan named the song 'Stockholm Syndrome,' saying that it was 'a deep cut from the records' for him.

'A lot of deep cuts, songs that a lot of people don't know [like] 'Fireproof.' 'Drag Me Down' [and] 'Story of My Life' are good ones. There's a lot of songs!' the star continued.

Saying that a lot of people don't know the songs he mentioned, Horan was probably a bit off the mark, as many fans actually remember and love these tracks too. While 'Fireproof' and 'Story of My Life' might not be super popular, the official video for 'Drag Me Down' has a whopping billion views on YouTube!

Despite his warm memories of the times he spent as part of the boy band, Niall Horan is determined to advance his career further and create new songs to rival the old OD hits. Since the group's effective breakup in 2015, the singer released two solo albums, both of which got to the top places in charts. His third album, The Show, is set to be released on June 9, 2023.

Though he might not enjoy the same degree of fame and adoration he had as a member of One Direction, Horan still has millions of devoted fans, who love his music and follow the developments in his personal life and career. In addition to making new songs, Niall also became a coach on the 23rd season of The Voice.

You can see him in this new role on May 8, as Part 2 of The Voice playoffs airs on NBC.
