4 Major Celebs Starring in Only Murders in the Building Season 3
These celebrities lit up the show with their presence.
There's a deep lull in the TV industry these days, with almost all scripted series canceled or indefinitely suspended as the writers' and actors' strikes continue. So every new release for the rest of the year will probably be an unqualified celebration for all of us.
Against this backdrop, the first two episodes of the new season of the satirical black comedy about wannabe homicide detectives Only Murders in the Building were released on August 8. A trio of murder mystery podcasters, played by the great Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, are once again faced with a mysterious murder to investigate.
This time, the show has upped its budget considerably, as Season 3 added some incredibly famous actors to the cast.

4. Ashley Park
Known for the popular Netflix series Emily in Paris, as well as the acclaimed musicals The King and I and Mean Girls, Ashley Park played a Broadway actress in Only Murders in the Building. Her character is Kimber, a young actress in Oliver's (Short) play, which was suspended due to the mysterious murder of the lead actor.
3. Jesse Williams
Jesse Williams, known for his role in Grey's Anatomy and as the actor who motion-captured and voiced Markus in the video game Detroit: Become Human, also appeared in Season 3 as Tobert, a cameraman hired by the season's main victim to make a documentary. As the victim was murdered, Tobert started filming a movie about the investigation.
2. Paul Rudd
Paul Rudd was a truly stellar addition to Only Murders in the Building. Sadly, he was only there for a brief moment, playing the victim, Ben, who was involved in Oliver's production before he supposedly collapsed and died in the previous season finale.
1. Meryl Streep
Yes, the one and only Meryl Streep appeared in the show, playing a talented but insecure theater actress, Loretta Durkin, who was also Oliver's romantic interest. During rehearsals for the production, Loretta was constantly criticized by Ben. Reckon Streep's character could be the killer?
Both episodes of Only Murders in the Building Season 3 are already available on Hulu. Episode 3 will be released on August 15.
