In 1814, a girl, chased by an angry crowd, jumps into a lake and disappears without a trace. In the present day, Kat, a young woman who ran away from home twenty years ago, is facing a crisis.

She is fired from her job, her ex-husband refuses to participate in the family's life, her teenage daughter is completely out of control – she is expelled from school.

Kat receives a letter from her mother, with whom she has not spoken in years, and decides to return to the house she left long ago. Kat, her daughter Alice and her mother Del learn to live together and find a common language. And time travel will help them.

2. Anne with An E, 2017-2019

Marilla and Matthew are brother and sister. Neither of them has had much luck in love, so they live together on a small farm. Age is taking its toll: they can't keep up with all the chores, so they decide to adopt a child – a boy who would help them with the housework.
