Your Last Chance: Every Show Leaving Netflix This December
Netflix’s December 2025 purge is here: expiring licenses and reshuffled rights are pushing a slate of fan favorites off the platform — and some have already vanished.
If you use Netflix like a revolving door for comfort rewatches, heads up: December 2025 is one of those months where the Exit sign is getting a workout. A few big legacy shows are either already gone or on their way out, and some of them are leaving fast. Here’s what’s leaving, when, and where you can still find them after the fact.
- How I Met Your Mother (Seasons 1-9) — left December 3, 2025
Created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. Starring Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, and Alyson Hannigan. The one where Ted tells a very long story to his kids.
On Netflix: June 2024 to December 2025 (yep, barely a year).
Where to watch next: Hulu. - The 100 (Seasons 1-7) — leaving December 18, 2025
Also known as The Hundred. Based on Kass Morgan’s novel; developed by Jason Rothenberg. Starring Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Thomas McDonell, and Eli Goree. Post-apocalyptic sci-fi where 100 juvenile prisoners get sent from a space station to see if Earth is livable again.
Why it’s leaving: licensing window ran out.
Where to watch next: not specified here, so plan accordingly. - Arrow (Seasons 1-8) — leaving December 18, 2025
Developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. Billionaire turned bow-and-arrow vigilante kicks off a whole superhero TV era.
On Netflix: it landed more than a decade ago; the long run ends here.
Where to watch next: not specified here yet. - Supernatural (Seasons 1-15) — leaving December 18, 2025
Created by Eric Kripke. Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as the Winchester brothers, driving, quipping, and hunting everything that goes bump in the night.
On Netflix: since 2014. Final day is December 18.
Where to watch next: Peacock starting December 22, 2025. It’s also reportedly available on Prime Video. - Evil (Seasons 1-3) — leaving December 31, 2025
From Robert King and Michelle King. A skeptical psychologist (Katja Herbers) teams with a priest-in-training to investigate cases for the Church. Premiered in 2019 and runs 4 seasons total.
Note: Netflix only has Seasons 1-3. All 4 seasons stream on Paramount+ after it leaves.
Bottom line: if any of these are mid-rewatch for you, set a reminder. The quick turnarounds are a little brutal (pour one out for How I Met Your Mother’s one-year Netflix stint), but at least most of the big ones have clear homes after the move — Hulu for HIMYM, Peacock for Supernatural (starting December 22), and Paramount+ for the full run of Evil. The rest? Keep an eye on your watchlist before they vanish.
