You Can Still Snag Ghost of Yotei PS5 Bundles

I did not expect this: the Ghost of Yotei limited edition PS5 gear is still up for grabs on the eve of launch. The bundles, the shiny DualSense controllers, even some console covers — not completely wiped out by resellers. Wild. If you want the matching hardware for Atsu's adventure, you actually still have a shot.

What is it, what does it cost, and what do you get?

There are two limited edition PS5 Slim bundles (gold and black), each at $599.99 in the US or £519.99 in the UK. Both bundles include a digital copy of Ghost of Yotei and the preorder perks: a unique in-game mask and a set of seven PSN avatars. So you are not juggling a separate game purchase later.

The limited edition DualSense controllers are also out there — $84.99 in the US, £74.99 in the UK — with one catch: the black controller is a PlayStation Direct exclusive. The console covers are the tricky part. The PS5 Pro cover sold out pretty much right after preorders opened. Standard PS5 covers are spotty at retailers, but you can still find options at PlayStation Direct in both regions.

Why is this still in stock?

Short version: I thought these would vaporize. The hardware looks great, the black variants are Direct-only (which usually get snapped up instantly), and the game hits October 2, 2025. Yet as of now, you can still preorder most of it. Inside baseball: the black bundle and black controller being locked to PlayStation Direct usually spells instant sold out. Not this time — at least, not yet.

US vs. UK stock, simplified

Here is the clean read without retailer scavenger hunts:

• US - PS5 Slim bundles (gold and black) are $599.99; the black bundle is exclusive to PlayStation Direct. Gold is also showing at big-box retailers, but placement is fluctuating.
• US - DualSense controllers are $84.99 across most stores; Walmart is listing at $84.88. The black controller is exclusive to PlayStation Direct; the gold one is widely available (PS Direct, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, etc.).
• US - Console covers are $64.99 at PlayStation Direct. The PS5 Pro cover has been out of stock since shortly after preorders opened. Standard PS5 covers are tough to find at third-party retailers but still available via PlayStation Direct.
• UK - PS5 Slim bundles (gold and black) are £519.99 at PlayStation Direct. The black bundle is Direct-only; the gold bundle is broadly available (Amazon, The Game Collection, Very), with Amazon undercutting by 99p (£519 vs £519.99).
• UK - DualSense controllers are £74.99 at most places (PS Direct, Amazon, Very), with ShopTo listing £71.85. Both colors are easy to find; if you have Prime, Amazon shipping is the safe bet for release timing.
• UK - Console covers are £54.99 at PlayStation Direct. The PS5 Pro cover is long gone; the gold standard PS5 cover is still available via PlayStation Direct.
• Bundles include a digital voucher for the game plus preorder bonuses: a unique in-game mask and seven PSN avatars.
• If you just want the software: the Collector's Edition starts at $249.99 at PlayStation Direct, and the Standard Edition is $69.99 at Best Buy.

Dates to know

Ghost of Yotei launches October 2, 2025 on PS5. Preorders for the limited edition hardware went live back on September 4, 2025, which is why seeing stock still around is a little shocking.

Bottom line

If the gold or black setup has been calling your name, do not wait. The PS5 Pro cover is already toast, and these things rarely linger once the game actually drops. Grab the bundle or controller you want now, and you will be set to flex your Ghost fandom when Atsu's story lands.
