Yellowjackets Is Ending on November 20 and I Am Not Ready
Paramount+ dropped the date on Thursday: the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets premieres Friday, November 20, on the premium tier. Five years, four seasons, one soccer team, an unspeakable amount of trauma. That's the run.
The teaser is a wall of 1990s television sets playing footage from the first three seasons, cut with news reports about the rescue. There's an MTV News logo. There's Kurt Loder announcing that rescue teams in Canada found the missing girls. And it closes on Nat screaming into the radio from the season three finale, asking if anyone can hear her.
So yes. Someone heard her. That's the whole final season.
What we know about the plot
The official line: the survivors are racing to bury their sins before rescue arrives, and an old flame comes back to town with her own agenda. Paramount+ is being coy about who, while promising the homecoming will sting.
Both timelines are converging, which is the only way this thing could possibly end.
Who's back
Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess and Hilary Swank.
Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson remain showrunners. Lionsgate Television produces for Showtime.
Nineteen months between season three and season four. The girls spent nineteen months in the wilderness. I refuse to believe that's an accident and nobody can make me.
All three previous seasons are on Paramount+ if you need to relitigate the pit girl situation before November.
