WWE Raw blasted out of the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City with a stacked card: Lyra Valkyria battled The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defended the WWE World Tag Team Titles against The War Raiders, and Gunther, slated as John Cena’s final WWE opponent, addressed their looming clash. Here’s who walked out with the wins.

Raw hit Kansas City with the kind of chaotic energy WWE has been leaning into lately: big talk, surprise run-ins, title defenses that actually delivered, and a nasty main-event beatdown that did not stop when the show ended. If you missed it, here’s what mattered and why it was messy in a fun way.

Gunther sets the tone for John Cena

Gunther opened the show focused and mean, zeroing in on John Cena ahead of their match. He didn’t do the usual tough-guy broad strokes; he got specific about ripping away Cena’s whole brand.

"I will choke the hustle, loyalty and respect out of John Cena."

He also promised Cena would eventually give up. Subtlety was not on the menu.

Iyo Sky vs Kairi Sane (with some unusual corner choices)

The women’s tag scene is a blender right now, and this match leaned into that. Iyo Sky came out with Rhea Ripley in her corner, while Kairi Sane had Asuka backing her. After Sane went for a double stomp, Sky countered and finished it with a clean moonsault for the pin. No controversy on the ending, even if the corner pairings raised an eyebrow.

Billed as Finn Balor vs Rey Mysterio, but it never really happened

Before the bell, Logan Paul blindsided Rey Mysterio during his entrance, using brass knuckles supplied by Paul Heyman. Rey fired back and lined up a 619, but a hooded attacker sprinted in, superkicked him, stomped him, and bailed. Logan cracked Rey again with the knucks until LA Knight charged down and chased Paul off. The match was never officially started, so no result beyond: chaos.

World Tag Titles: AJ Styles and Dragon Lee hang on against The War Raiders

Styles and Dragon Lee stayed in sync and beat The War Raiders when AJ landed the Phenomenal Forearm on Erik for the three-count. Post-match, The New Day hit the ring, only to be interrupted by The Usos, who announced they’re officially back in the tag division. That’s a lot of traffic at the top of the card.

Lyra Valkyria vs Roxanne Perez, with Bayley and Liv stirring the pot

Valkyria had Bayley in her corner. Perez had Liv Morgan, and the bigger picture here is Liv and Roxanne eyeing the Women’s Tag Titles while Raquel Rodriguez is chasing Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. The finishing stretch got crowded: Perez dropkicked Bayley, Liv knocked Valkyria off the apron, and Roxanne capitalized by hitting Pop Rox for the win. If you saw a graphic or recap calling it for Lyra, that’s just wrong — the action clearly ended with Perez getting the pin.

Main event: LA Knight vs Logan Paul turns into an all-out mugging

Knight and Paul were having a solid match until The Vision stuck their nose in. The ref tossed Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker from ringside, but the hooded attacker from earlier returned and stomped Knight on the announce table behind the ref’s back. Logan followed with a frog splash for the win.

Then the real damage started. Breakker speared Knight. Reed hit two Tsunamis. Heyman publicly backed Breakker as the next World Heavyweight Champion, and Breakker went ahead and called out CM Punk. Backstage, the beatdown continued: Reed and Logan Paul powerbombed Knight through a table, then Reed climbed onto a car and crushed Knight with a Tsunami to end the show. Yes, a Tsunami off a car. That’s how far they pushed it.

Quick results

  • Opening segment: Gunther cut a promo on John Cena (no match)
  • Iyo Sky def. Kairi Sane via moonsault
  • Finn Balor vs Rey Mysterio: No Contest (ambush by Logan Paul, interference by a hooded attacker, LA Knight made the save)
  • WWE World Tag Team Championship: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee def. The War Raiders (Styles pinned Erik with the Phenomenal Forearm); post-match, The New Day appeared and The Usos announced their return to the tag division
  • Roxanne Perez def. Lyra Valkyria via Pop Rox (Liv Morgan and Bayley involvement tilted the finish)
  • Logan Paul def. LA Knight via frog splash after interference; post-match, Breakker and Reed destroyed Knight, Heyman endorsed Breakker, Breakker called out CM Punk, and Reed crushed Knight with a Tsunami on top of a car backstage

All of this went down live from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Lot of moving pieces, and the mystery attacker just became the most annoying person on Raw in record time.
